Walser Via Ferrata

Our half-day tour to the Kanzelwand summit in alpine terrain is ideal for via ferrata beginners.

After an introduction to the technique, we conquer the via ferrata through the rocks and over the Burma bridge to the summit, where a wonderful panoramic view awaits us.

When: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from May - October, 08.05.2026 to 08.11.2026
Time & Meeting Point: 09:30 AM, Kanzelwand valley station
Fitness & Equipment: Ankle-high hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, surefootedness and fitness for hikes of 3 to 4 hours, sufficient beverages
Important Information: Ascent approx. 300 vertical meters, hiking time approx. 2 hours, via ferrata of category B. Secured with your via ferrata set, you will master exposed sections with the help of ladders, clamps, and pegs. No prior experience in via ferrata climbing is required for this tour. Suitable for sporty beginners with surefootedness and a head for heights.
