For beginners with little mountain experience.
In the climbing garden, there is an introduction to materials knowledge, foothold, and safety techniques. At our practice climbing routes set up in the climbing garden in the rock, we gain initial security with the equipment. Afterwards, we take the Kanzelwandbahn up and already enter alpine terrain. We ascend the Walser via ferrata to the summit. An exciting experience for beginners. The via ferrata course is suitable for children aged 8 and older.
When: Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 9, 2026, to November 8, 2026
Time: 10:00 AM Climbing Garden - 500m before the Ifen valley station on the right, parking available
Duration: approx. 5 hours
Price:
Adults € 100,- per person.
Children 8 – 16 years € 85,- per person. Minimum height 140cm (accompanied by an adult)

What to bring & Fitness: Ankle-high hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, surefootedness, and fitness for hikes of 5 to 6 hours, sufficient drinks;
Important information: Ascents and descents of up to 600 meters in altitude, walking times between 4 and 6 hours, depending on the weather, path conditions, and the group's fitness.
