The start (between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM) takes place at Hotel Tradizio with an aperitif made from homemade hay flower syrup and regional appetizers. After the first hiking stage, you will be satisfied from fresh air and beautiful views, but the homemade Maultaschen in gourmet mushroom cream with veal jus and parsley (or a vegetarian variant with herb filling) will be waiting for you with a glass of wine at Hotel Birkenhöhe to satisfy your hunger.

The second stage of the hike is wonderfully suitable as a digestive walk and leads you past impressive water and natural monuments to the Genuss- und Aktivhotel Sonnenburg. You have truly earned the fragrant Kaiserschmarren according to grandma's recipe along with a hot beverage, and you can reflect on the impressions of the hike while gazing inward into the valley.

Please plan your hike so that you arrive at Hotel Birkenhöhe by 1:30 PM at the latest and at Genuss- und Aktivhotel Sonnenburg by 5:00 PM at the latest. Ideally, take a whole day for it.

Hotel Tradizio to Birkenhöhe: approx. 1.5 to 2 hours of walking time (without Zafernalift approx. 2 to 2.5 hours)
Birkenhöhe to Sonnenburg: approx. 2 hours of walking time
