The JRE Chefs Roulette undoubtedly belongs to the second category.

More than 30 top chefs of the Jeunes Restaurateurs Österreich will leave their usual places of work for one evening and exchange their kitchens with JRE colleagues across Austria.
The special thing about it? No one knows in advance which chef will be at which stove. The secret will only be revealed during the menu.
We at the Walserstuba are also excited to be part of this extraordinary evening of enjoyment.
For our guests, this means: the highest culinary art, surprising taste experiences, and the unique opportunity to experience a renowned top chef in our kitchen – without knowing who it will be.

Excitement meets enjoyment The concept is as simple as it is genius: the participating chefs are drawn by lot and cook not in their own restaurant but at a colleague's place. They bring special products from their homeland and combine them with the regional ingredients of the host establishment.
This results in creative and unique five-course menus that even regular guests will find surprising.
The menu is accompanied by a carefully matched wine pairing, aperitif, mineral water, and coffee.
An evening full of enjoyment, encounters, and culinary surprises.
Enjoyment with heart In addition to the culinary experience, a good cause is also at the forefront. At Chefs Roulette, donations for charitable projects are collected every year.
In the past year alone, over € 41,000 could be raised for social initiatives.
