The artist Michaela Ortner-Moosbrugger, who grew up in the Bregenz Forest, devotes her work to the quiet beauty of the local nature.
After her art studies in Zurich and numerous stays and exhibitions abroad, she returned to her homeland in 2018.
Her fine ink drawings emerge from precise observation and a deep connection to the botanical world. During walks through the diverse landscapes of the Bregenz Forest, she captures plants, grasses, and natural forms in a reduced, yet impressive manner.
With black ink, water, and light, she creates works of great clarity and poetic expressiveness.
