Tour description
The bronze route of ‘Hike the Valley’ is approximately 8 kilometres long and has an elevation gain of 300 metres. After starting at the Walserhaus in Hirschegg, the route leads via Rohrweg and Schöntalweg up to the Heubergbahn mountain station and continues along the scenic Oberer Höhenweg to Mittelberg. From there, it follows the Breitachweg trail back to the finish in Hirschegg. To make ‘Hike the Valley’ a highlight for the whole family, we are offering a special children's programme along the route for all registered participants on 4 October. All registered children aged 6–13 will receive the Burmi hiking stamp booklet in their starter pack! At 5 stamp stations along the bronze route, young hikers can find out what Burmi, the marmot mascot, particularly enjoys doing in the beautiful Kleinwalsertal valley in summer. Keep your eyes open during the hike and stamp each field in Burmi's hiking stamp booklet at the stamp stations! At the finish line in the village square in Hirschegg, all finishers will receive an award and enjoy a colourful supporting programme.Best season

Tips
Individual hiking equipment. Sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. The bronze route is not suitable for pushchairs (narrow, stony sections). For families with small children who are not yet able to hike the route independently, we therefore strongly recommend a backpack carrier.Further links
The ‘Hike the Valley’ event takes place as part of the hiking festival in Kleinwalsertal. The aim of the event is to complete the specified route independently on foot. The focus of ‘Hike the Valley’ is on experiencing nature, community spirit and personal challenge. It is not a competition between participants, so there is no timekeeping.
