for a greener future Action week on the topic of sustainability

From July 4 to 13, 2025, the Sustainability Week will take place in the Allgäu and also in Kleinwalsertal. During the week of action, there will be a number of events focusing on a better future for all of us – and of course encouraging people to get active and join in!

EXPERIENCE NATURE CONSCIOUSLY

Action "STAY CLEAN"

Take your garbage with you instead of leaving it behind – the hands-on exhibition at the Walserhaus in Hirschegg raises awareness of the correct way to deal with waste in nature. It gets down to the nitty-gritty: fill preserving jars with the garbage you have collected and display them on the shelf provided. You will receive a high-quality fabric waste collection bag or a pocket ashtray for your jar at the Tourist Info counter. The waste collection bags are produced by young people from the "fabric instead of plastic" sewing group.

Volunteer action day ON 10.07.2025 Get involved!

Balsam spreads rapidly through the jumping seeds, hence the name, displaces important native species and draws a lot of water from the soil. This makes the soil unstable. So help us get to the root of the problem and remove the young plants before the first seeds are sown.
