On this easy day tour, we will be enchanted by the charm of the winter landscape. We hike towards the Hörnlepass mountain lodge and continue towards Osterberg through the expansive alpine area. The Osterbergalpe is operated in summer. In winter, we enjoy absolute tranquility here and listen to the silence. If conditions are right, we will take a detour to Hörnlepass. On this nature tour, we leave our everyday lives behind and enjoy the solitude as we wander through the romantic winter landscape. An ideal day tour for beginners and anyone who wants to take it easy and relaxed.
Duration: approx. 5 hours - expected return around 3 PM
Meeting: 9:30 AM at the Schwende Bergblick bus stop in Riezlern
Price: € 80.00 including snowshoes and poles; avalanche safety device, shovel, probe - if necessary
Minimum participants: from 4 people;
Requirements: Fitness and endurance for sporting ascents and descents of up to 400 meters in snow and walking time of up to 5 hours.
Equipment: Sturdy, ankle-high shoes (mountain shoes) or hiking boots, winter clothing, and a backpack with some snacks. Snowshoes and poles, as well as the avalanche safety device, will be provided by the mountain school.
