Experience the winter Kleinwalsertal on a ski tour and get your first insight into the techniques of this fascinating sport. Learn about ski touring equipment as well as the most important ascent and descent techniques, and receive a brief introduction to avalanche awareness and tour planning. After the ascent, enjoy an unforgettable view of the Walser mountain world and ski back down into the valley in powder snow or crisp firn.
Prerequisite: Good ability to ski on black runs, fitness for approximately 2-hour ascents.
Equipment: Bring ski touring equipment including skins (rental equipment see sports rental) and a daypack with provisions.
AVALANCHE EQUIPMENT, shovel, and probe will be provided.
Meeting point: Walserhaus Hirschegg at 9:00 AM.
Duration: approx. 4 to 5 hours
Price: € 115.00 (excluding skis, poles, skins, lift ticket) - not suitable for children.
What to bring: Own ski equipment, Allgäu-Walser Card.
