Geotope Day - Children's program

On Geotope Day, the event “Auf Spurensuche” (Searching for Traces) will take place, providing information about the wildlife in the Breitachklamm gorge area, followed by a trace search.

The children's activity does not include a visit to the Breitachklamm gorge itself—it takes place in the area surrounding the gorge and, in case of bad weather, indoors. It is suitable for children aged 5–10.

Meeting point: Entrance to the Breitachklamm, Klammstr. 47, 87561 Oberstdorf.
When: September 12, 2025
Start: 3 p.m Prior registration is required.

The ticket costs €5.00 per child

Throughout the entire period from September 1 to 21, 2025, there will also be a special exhibition by the Bavarian Association for Bird and Nature Conservation (Landesbund für Vogel- und Naturschutz in Bayern e.V.) on the topic of “Alpine salamanders.”
