Day course in avalanche search for winter sports enthusiasts

Proper handling of safety equipment

Every Monday and Friday from 22.12.2025 to 03.04.2026

All those who are considering conquering the open ski terrain and the untouched winter landscape must be aware of the risks. In addition to assessing avalanche conditions, the proper handling of safety equipment is particularly important. This day course provides an initial insight into this.

The handling of avalanche search devices, shovels, and probes needs to be learned and, above all, practiced regularly. Basic knowledge is an advantage on all guided tours and is sometimes essential. Therefore, we recommend this course to all beginners to gain initial impressions and also to those who have already been out in the terrain for a refresher. For practical exercises, we go into the terrain near the valley.
